Attention Business & Property Owners

Presumption against liability under Florida law

The owner or principal operator of a multifamily residential property of five units or more on a parcel that substantially implements the following security measures has a presumption against liability in connection with criminal acts committed on the premises by third parties who are not employees or agents of the owner or operator.

ALL FLORIDA CPTED provides affordable CPTED survey assessments to business and property owners to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements per Florida Statute 768.0706.
